The Apple iBook G4 was the last iBook to be released by Apple. It featured a PowerPC G4 chip, slot loaded optical drives and a white solid case and keyboard. All versions of the iBook G4 were available with a 12" or 14" screen. The CPU speed ranged from 800 Mhz to 1.42 GHz depending on the version. A neat little part of the iBook G4 design was the keyboard lifts up and right underneath is where the wireless AirPort and additional memory is housed. In 2006 the MacBook replaced the iBook.
